October 7 & 14

Play-Skill Development: Cognitive indicators - Topics: Why playing, and playing the right way, is important for physical and intellectual development. Learn how to organize the best home play-learning space and select the best toys to foster child development.


October 21 & 28

Promoting Cognition and Communication - Topics: Techniques specialists use to foster growth of language, critical thinking and other skills. Parents can build their repertoire of fun learning activities.


November 4 & 11

Hearing Hygiene and Academic Issues - Topics: How to safeguard hearing in an age of noisy toys. Excessive noise levels in the average classroom, the negative impact on learning and how to address it.


December 2 & 9

Child Development and Common Problems – Topics: Pacifiers, sucking and speech development. Why lisps are not cute and what to do about them. Normal dysfluency versus real stuttering.
